Can you make a dedicated video on the topic of balance between low frequencies (20Hz-150Hz) background room noice vs standing waves vs speakers placement? I am considering to experiment with symetrical L shape room with listening position 2m away from back corner facing 45 degrees with speakers pointing in such a way that pressure and sound ways would always be washed out into garden space because both ends of the L would be opened? (French doors fully opened during listening possibly heavy curtains. What I am asking is what is harder to deal with? Open ends of the L shape room no standing waves but 40dB of pressure at 47Hz or plenty and strong standing waves but 20dB background noise at 47Hz around? By the way it is hard to hear 20Hz-100Hz background noise. But I know it becaue iphone dB meter shows it. And you sort of feel it.
Are you telling I should only listen to Jazz in my BYD? You're the boss.
Holy cow .... :)
3000 euros in driver cost (used drivers good condition 2nd hand market).
This is exactly what I was expecting with my Focus 20XD and the answer I was looking for. Thank you. It does mean I can’t squeeze much more quality out of my current setup and have to upgrade to something else.
is it possible for something electronic to be struck by a lightning surge and then not work but still have power??
Is it normal for air to come out the port
Yes. 🙂
Mine won't come clean. It’s a white Monster DNA Max Portable. It got dirty just by handling it over time. The technique here will not work.
Two centre speakers and subwoofer. I did It and it works great
Very cool!
That's so cool
Does plugging a port cause any damage to the speaker? I read somewhere it forces the driver to work harder thus reducing its life span.

Hi , little question I have Focus 50 and Qobuz hires on Iphone 14pro I use Mconnect lite because Qobuz it is not included in your App the first question is sometime I select Upnp on App and the Focus are not found , I dont'undestand why for one year it is ok second question for best Hires quality what i have to select Upnp or Chromecast ? Airpaly i think it is low I think in the future it is better change from Qobuz to Tidal in this way I think it is all easy using your app Tank you
Hello. UPnP or Chromecast deliver higher quality than Airplay, as you suggest. With regards to your specific problem, please try power-cycling the primary speaker. This should resolve the issue.
@@dynaudio tank you , now it is ok , before I try switch on/off by software now witch fisical swirch it is ok. But UPnP and Chromecast are the same or you prefer one for 24bit 192kHz ?
@@Pitguas Chromecast is maximum 96 kHz, UPnP can do 192 kHz. Therefore UPnP is higher. Apologies, that we hadn't made this clear in our last reply.
too much science talk - please give us practical solutions!
We try to strike a balance, but it's unfortunately not always quite that simple. Thanks for the feedback, though.
That wireless system is a f.... joke. Got the connect and link to my xeo speakers. Nothing connects no manual solves it, and the bluetooths in the speakers are gone, cant connect to the slave speaker. Thought the Dynaudios was more concern with the rumors they get. Sad to see they throw it all away. Its hillarous stupid, 3 rooms, A,b,c, and red blue and green. Tons of confusions, but zero manual to solve it. Btw only Apple can connect to them......
My Heritage Special has sharp edges… 🙀
How sharp?
Quick question??? Will the Aiyima A07 Pro let me use a center channel speaker???
We would recommend asking the manufacturer :-)
Thank you!
I find this video very strange and very non informational! Too much repeating about smaller spaces?! If I have a big space?? Whats missing: WHY do they sound good? What is new? What new tech do you use or do you just reuse old tech?
Hi, I've owned the Heritage Specials and the Special Forty. I prefer the faster, livelier, more energetic sound of the Special Forty. As I'm now seeking a bigger sound, which tower should I be looking at to give me this sound? 60i? Or am I better off with Core 59?
Hi there. Contour 60i would be a fantastic choice, certainly. Core 59 are great too, but are designed to be used as studio monitors, of course. Thanks.

Can I use Dynaudio Pro Audio models in my home environment?
Indeed, if they work better for you. Just keep in mind that Sub 3 and Sub 6 have presets for our stereo speakers, which the pro subwoofers do not.
I thought Tweeter are to be placed to the outside; Is OK to have the C-47 Vertical?
In a stereo setup, ideally, yes. In Atmos, and in tight spaces, I'd say that anything goes, as long as you can make it work. First and foremost, trust your ears before your eyes!
How do they work in a smaller room? My room is 12ft x 13ft (approximately 3.7 x 4m). It is acoustically treated. I am currently running Evoke 10s and they work wonderfully, but am curious if a higher end option would be feasible. Thanks in advance!
A 2-way speaker usually generally works well with small listening distances, and I would generally not be worried with that size room. One thing to be concerned about might be that a room with those dimensions will have room modes between 43-46 Hz. Since the Confidence 20 has more output at these frequencies than Evoke 10, you will experience more bass. But whether that is a problem also depends on the type of walls and ceiling, and your personal preference. It depends on whether you are searching for more/deeper bass as part of your upgrade, or not.
Master Composure of the Typing Keyboard.
Local Dynaudio dealer kindly gave me a Contour 20i to try it out. Very good speaker in my opinion and soundstage and imaging is simply incredible. I listen to classical music and I hear exactly the same what Mr. Emonts spoke about. Soundstage depth and precision of location of instruments is the best I've ever heard even in my relatively small room. I had to find best speaker position and listening angle but now it is perfect. Finishing and look of the speaker is also very high level! Great product!
Best in the world. 😊👌
I always like the core line but because i have a small room i thought that all the models will be too much for my room. Now i think that core 5 will be my next studio monitor.Do you have the price for this model?Thank you!!!
Thanks for the consideration! Core is going to run at about 1600 Euros.
@@dynaudio thank you!!!

Can you fill the stand with heavier crushed small white stone instead of sand? Would that be better than filling with sand?
I have always used an sand blasting agent, i think its iron silicate. Heavy and not to small particulates.
He needs bigger monitors
Thank you for sharing such valuable information :)
My question is regarding approximately how many kilos of sand to purchase for the Dynaudio stand 20 re pair of dynaudio standmount speakers.
Here's a guy that's been on a class on presentation, and tries to apply 'eye contact' totally out of context. Very distracting
I watched an interview with Hans Zimmer about Dune 2 and he mentioned how he found Steve. I immediately searched for this kind of interview with Steve and it's perfect. I'm looking forward to hearing Mazzaro soundtracks for the next 30 to 40 years. Keep up the great work, Steve!
same!!!
Same here
Neodymium is way more expensive than ferrite. Also Dynaudio combines the two materials in some woofers. The information given in some Dynaudio video clips is so summiere, just for the stupid people I guess.
I had a set of Confidence 20's for about 2 years, and really enjoyed them. I have since upgraded to the Confidence 30 speaker, that takes musical enjoyment to a whole new level. After having a floor stander, i could never go back to a bookshelf speaker. Mind you the Confidence 20 is a small floor stander in my opinion, not a bookshelf speaker.
I'd like some hints about speaker cable brands (models?) to pair with Confidence. Thank you.
I have been running the Madison Audio LAB E3 Extreme 1 cables. They were an amazing cable. I got a deal on a set of WireWorld Silver Eclipes 8 speaker cables. And they were slightly better. A bit more musical and romantic if you will. Great Sound costs money.
What i'm missing is detailed instruction how to assemble stand with metal washers at the bottom. Should i tighten some screwes close to legs?
I noticed big improvement using supplied spikes into washers (instead of just rubber washers). Is it even better to remove rubber washers completely or replace rubber washers with more stiff, like metal ones?
With supplied spirit level, should i perfectly level, or its possible to tilt/rake? Because i noticed front part of speaker is much heavier
Great videos! I watch them one by one and will definitely share them with my friends. I have EMIT 30 v1 with Marantz PM 8006 and I'm really surprised how it can sound. Is 100W for these speakers enough? Because I have the impression that they want more, but people on the forum write that they need a lot of power.
Pomieszczenie do testowania robi wrażenie :o świetny film
Dzięnki!
People buy equipment for a lot of money, but they cannot arrange the system in the room, listening to whether it sounds good or bad by changing the position of the speakers. I changed equipment and had a problem with the bass, so I moved the speakers until I liked the effect. It's a good idea to compare it with the sound on good monitor headphones and head in that direction. I have been testing Emi 30 for 2 days and I am blown away by the quality of sound with great bass. But I don't know if I'll miss the opportunity to put in earplugs because there's probably too much reflection when listening at louder levels.
